INNOVATION CENTER

The KEEL Innovation Center is a collaborative hub to provide students with specific places to gain hands-on experience with highly specialized tools.

By integrating manufacturing-grade technology into purpose built labs, we empower the next generation of technical pioneers to master the tools of tomorrow. The KEEL Innovation Center is dedicated to transforming bold visions into engineering excellence.

LEGO LAB

The LEGO Lab serves as a foundational workshop where students bridge the gap between creative design and robotics. As a dedicated space for FIRST LEGO League preparation, this facility provides the tools and environment necessary for mastering structural integrity, complex gearing, and logic-based sensor movement. Students work in teams to tackle seasonal challenges, developing essential skills in rapid prototyping and iterative design that define the technical pioneers of tomorrow.

ELECTONICS LAB

This space will provide hands-on experiences with reading schematics, building CAN networks and understanding electrical units of measure like volts, watts, and amps. Our Electronics Lab provides students with high-end digital oscilloscopes, precision soldering stations, and advanced circuit prototyping kits. This space will provide key skills in rounding out students' knowledge of microprocessors and programming.

3D PRINT LAB

The 3D Print Lab at Lockwood STEM Center serves as a high-performance additive manufacturing room. Students engage in technical prototyping using industrial SLA resin systems, bridging the gap between computer-aided design and physical engineering. In an “open facility,” it is vital to have a space where the printers are well ventilated. The lab was custom designed to maximize the performance of the printers.
